During her successful stint on the X Factor in2 010, Rebecca Ferguson stood out among her competitors for her soulful voice and refusal to flash the flesh in order to win votes.
The shy single mother made it through to the finals on talent alone, going on to record a platinum-selling album.
But during a homecoming performance in Liverpool tonight, the 25-year-old certainly looked like she has come out of her shell in the style stakes, taking to the stage in a daring, sheer dress.

Rebecca wore a black lace gown that featured a bra and mini skirt beneath a see-through overlay that showed off her legs and midriff.
And instead of her trademark tight, high ponytail or bun, the mother-of-two opted for softer, tumbling curls.
the look is in stark contrast to Rebecca's on-stage style during her X Factor days, when she favoured demure, floor-length gowns or high-fashion looks over a raunchy image.

The Nothing's Real But Love singer is coming to the end of her first solo tour, following the release of her debut album Heaven in December.
The album, which she insisted to Simon Cowell that she would write herself, reached number three.
Her latest single, Too Good to Lose, was released last week.
