Since becoming a mother recently, Beyonce has taken a step back from the New York social scene.
But after spending the day with her baby Blue, the singer couldn't resist sneaking off for a few hours with her husband Jay-Z.
With her three-month-old daughter presumably tucked up in bed under the watchful eye of a nanny, the 30-year-old snuck into the Cartier Juste un Clou after-party.
Casual: Fresh from her holiday in St Barts, Beyonce looked casual in a loose-fitting top as she arrived at the Skylight studios last night
Staying in the shadows: Beyonce and her husband Jay-Z watched Rita Ora from the wings
Earlier on Thursday, Beyonce was seen bringing her daughter to her office.
The Love on Top singer stayed hidden behind a pair of 1960s style sunglasses and was heavily guarded by her security team.
Newcomer: The power couple were in attendance to support Rita Ora, who is signed to Jay-Z's record label
Three-month-old Blue was completely wrapped up in a big tribal pattern wool blanket and Beyoncé held her delicately and closely to her chest.
The trip to her mother's work place would have been very insightful for the baby, if she had known exactly what was going on and where she was.

A helping hand: Beyoncé is escorted from her super size van to the pavement as she holds on to Blue Ivy
Walk it out: The singer looked great in natural colours and green heels
As well as drawing inspiration from her own mother, Blue Ivy will be able to look up to Michelle Obama, who Beyoncé lauded praise on earlier today.
In an open letter that she posted on her website she described the First Lady as 'the ultimate example of a truly strong African-American woman.'
She wrote that she was 'proud to have my daughter grow up in a world where she has people like you to look up to.'
Get back! Beyoncé was well protected by her security team as she left her vehicle to head into the office
