She's always been proud to be a poster girl for the curvier woman.
But while training daily for Dancing With The Stars, it was inevitable Katherine Jenkins's curves would come under threat.
The classical singer revealed she has lost over 1 1/2 stone thanks to her daily dance rehearsals and performances with professional partner Mark Ballas.

At an event in Los Angeles last week, the Welsh star's slimmed down size 6-8 (US size 2-4) figure was clear to see in a navy jumpsuit.
Aside from burning off the calories during rehearsals, Jenkins admitted the stress over the recent end of her engagement to Gethin Jones had also contributed to her weight loss.

She told the Daily Mail: 'I've lost a stone and a half.

'I'm burning so much energy now that it’s hard to put the weight back on.

'But I like to be curvy so I’m trying not to lose any more. But I do want to be healthy, too - there are so many skimpy costumes to wear. That scares me.'
In an interview with the MailOnline last year, Jenkins revealed she relied on a combination of jogging and Bikram yoga to stay in shape.
She said: 'I’m not naturally a person that wants to exercise, but I find running is something I can do wherever I am in the world. I think Bikram is a really good thing, I think everyone should do it.'
She also follow a relaxed version of the Dukan diet - famously practised by Jennifer Lopez, Gisele Bundchen and the Middleton women.

She explains: 'I do follow a version of the Dukan diet, but I don’t follow it to the extreme so a lot of fish and vegetables. If I want chocolate I’ll let myself have a bit of chocolate in moderation.'
Since the current series of Dancing With The Stars hit screens last month, Jenkins and Ballas topped the leaderboard for the first three weeks.
However, last night, they ended up in the middle with their Paso Doble scoring 24 - their lowest score to date.
