A roaring good time: Leona Lewis goes back to the 1920s for murder mystery-themed 27th birthday party

Leona Lewis made sure her 27th birthday was one to remember this weekend with a 1920s-themed Murder Mystery bash.
The former X Factor star hired a country house in a mystery location outside London on Saturday - ahead of her actual birthday on Tuesday.
In a series of photos posted on Twitter by the singer and her friends, Lewis looked stunning in a fringed dress and beaded headpiece.

Buchanan, who is rumoured to be reuniting with the original Sugababes Siobhan Donaghy and Mutya Buena, opted for a fringed red dress, matching headband and gloves.
It was the butler in the library! The singer was joined at the party by her boyfriend Dennis Jaunch and ex-Sugababe Keisha Buchanan
Providing the entertainment was Kiss FM DJ Manny Norte, who updated his followers with party anecdotes.
The birthday girl herself uploaded a photo with her mother Maria and brothers Bradley and Kyle, entitled 'Gangsta fam'.
Buchanan joined Lewis on Friday night to start the festivities early, before they were joined by a larger crowd for the Saturday night party.
The former Sugababe tweeted: 'Last night was so much fun! I feel like I'm in the middle of Murder She Wrote and the movie Pride & Prejudice! Let the antics 4 2nite begin!

She uploaded a photo of herself with Lewis and Jaunch, writing: 'Happy Bday Leona loveee you.'
Describing the party venue, DJ Norte wrote on his Twitter: 'Leona Lewis Birthday party in some HUGE vintage mansion in the STICKS & all they askin is WHO'S THE DJ!! Oh boy...
'You know Professor Xavier's mansion in the X-Men? Yeah well Leona had her birthday party in something like that but probably bigger!

Meanwhile, Lewis is currently working on her third studio album Glassheart, due for release in November 2012.
