As one of the world's sexiest pop stars, we're used to seeing Rihanna in various states of undress.
But, ever the unpredictable with her style choices, the singer decided to cover up at the Tokyo premiere of her new movie Battlefield in a pyjama-style pantsuit.
The 24-year-old opted for a sea blue Emilio Pucci Fall 2012 pantsuit as she joined her Battleship co-stars at the film's world premiere in Japan.

The singer, who plays Petty Officer Cora Raikes in the sci-fi, naval war film, joined her co-stars Gregory Gadson, Brooklyn Decker, Taylor Kitsch, Alexander Skarsgard, and Tadanobu Asano at the International Yoyogi first gymnasium.
Model-turned-actress Decker, 24, went for a more traditional red carpet look in an optical illusion navy and white Stella McCartney creation.

Meanwhile, the singer has addressed speculation she may play Whitney Houston in a biopic on the tragic singer.
She told the Daily Telegraph: 'I didn't get that call yet.

'That would be something that I would have to give my entire life to do because I would want to really pull it off. That's a huge, huge role and whoever does it has to do a good job.'Rihanna admits the late star was a huge inspiration to her growing up in Barbados.
She explained: 'My first song that I remember falling in love with was a Whitney Houston song - I Will Always Love You. All of her music actually was always played in my house, with Mariah Carey and Celine Dion.

'It was really inspiring and it made me develop a passion for music, so really she's partly responsible for me being here in this industry.'During her promotional tour, Rihanna also spoke about meeting her mentor Jay-Z's baby daughter Blue Ivy.
She gushed: 'She's, it's unreal. It's unreal! And she really is Jay-Z's twin. It's hilarious. She's beautiful.'
