Beautiful, talented AND trendy: Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence shows she's made it to the big time with her first Rolling Stone cover

She has received critical acclaim for her role as sparky Katniss Everdeen in the Hunger Games which last weekend scored the third best opening of all time at the U.S. box office.
And, along with her new-found status as a teen pin up and box office draw, Jennifer Lawrence is also achingly hip - having made it onto the cover of Rolling Stone magazine.
The 21-year-old actress looked casual but stunning in a white vest top and jeans as she poses in a desert setting for the issue, out this Friday.


Her long hair is tousled around her shoulders and smoky eye make-up completes the look.
And from the thoughts of her friends and co-stars in the accompanying feature, it seems clear that Jennifer is an actress who likes to speak her mind.
Her Hunger Games co-star Woody Harrelson recalls the time he first met her, telling the publication: 'I was on my bus, and on my bus I have a yoga swing. Jennifer comes on, and she goes, "Hi, Woody, I’m J— is that a sex swing?" Her first sentence to me.'
And Zoe Kravitz, one of Jennifer's best friends and daughter of her Hunger Games co-star Lenny, said: 'I’d met her a few times, and she was like, "You should come over and we’ll hang out."
'So I go over to her apartment, and she opens the door in a towel. She’s like, "Come in, sorry, you’re early, I was about to shower."
'And she drops her towel and gets in the shower, and starts shaving her legs, totally naked. She was like, "Are we here yet? Is this OK?" And I was like,"‘I guess we’re there!"'
Jennifer, who is currently promoting the film worldwide - stepping out in Madrid earlier this week - is likely to also appear in Hunger Games film sequels Catching Fire and Mokingjay.
The star, who was nominated for a Best Actress Oscar back in 2010 for her role in Winter's Bone, is dating her X Men First Class co-star Nicholas Hoult.
‘British men have these wonderful manners, and everything they say is funnier just because of the accent,' the Kentucky-born actress recently told Glamour magazine.
'There’s this cute “I’m trying to be adorable because I know you’re mad at me” accent, and then the drunk accent where all the consonants have vanished.’
However, despite her leading role in a successful franchisee, Jennifer still has ambitions to become a mother and a wife in the future.

She told Look magazine 'I see my future the same as I did when I was a little girl - having a family and being a mum. I don't lie around thinking about my career aspirations.'
