With so many beefcakes running around, there may have been a worry The Avengers would lack some feminine charm in its forthcoming blockbuster.
But producers of the film have truly made it a comic book geek's dream by drafting in Scarlett Johannson for the role of the Black Widow.
The 27-year-old actress brings some much-needed sex appeal to a franchise that is positively dripping in testosterone.
Smouldering: Scarlett Johansson adds a healthy dose of feminine charm to The Avengers in the latest stills from the film
And she certainly looks fantastic in a set of newly released stills from the film, which hits cinemas in May.
With her cute red hair and low cut vest, it looks like she will bring the character of superspy Natasha Romanoff to life in the exciting adaption of the Marvel comic series.
The rest of the cast are also featured in the latest pictures to be released of the film.
One for the girls: Chris Hemsworth will attract plenty of attention thanks to his portrayal of Norse god Thor
A Hulking pair: There is a stark contrast between Ruffalo's Dr Bruce Banner and Downey Jr's Iron Man
Hitting the bulls-eye: Jeremy Renner will also be hoping to make his mark as the expert archer Hawkeye
The movie charts what happens when S.H.I.E.L.D director Nick Fury carries out his plan to assemble a group of superheroes to defend the Earth from a seemingly unbeatable enemy.
The team includes hunk Chris Hemworth's Norse god Thor, whose ability to fly, his superstrength and power over lightning, would make him a formidable addition to any team.
It also includes Robert Downey Jr.'s popular wisecracking Iron Man, and Mark Ruffalo's terrifyingly volatile Hulk.
Total carnage: Captain America stands on top of a wrecked police car in a still that hints of the trouble ahead
Behind the mask: Chris Evans is another silver screen superhero heartthrob when he takes his mask off
At the moment the plot of the film is still being kept tightly under wraps.
However it does seem to revolve around the appearance of Thor's bitter enemy and brother Loki on earth, and his attempts to destroy the planet.
Nick is Furious: Samuel L Jackson's character is charged with saving the world as the head of S.H.I.E.L.D
Doing the Loki-motion: The movie's villain is going to cause a major song and dance for the superhero team
