He has been living in America for almost 20 years and became an American citizen four years ago.

But Glasgow-born Craig Ferguson hasn't forgotten his mother land and today brought his chat show across to the pond to his native city.

And the 49-year-old even brought a couple of his Hollywood friends with him, one of them being actress Mila Kunis.

The Black Swan star was snapped in the Scottish city leaving the Tron Theatre where the show had been filmed.

She looked happy and relaxed in her surroundings as she left the theatre in knee high boots, black skinny jeans and a stripey grey jumper.

She was joined by The Green Mile star Michael Clarke Duncan who was also on the show.

After filming the show, Ferguson visited his home town of Cumbernauld, Lanarkshire and dropped in on his old school.

He told the children and the waiting press: 'I'm really pleased to be home.'

The chat show host came under fire recently on his Late Late Show when, referring to The Idler's Book of Crap Towns, which rates Cumbernauld second only to Hull, Ferguson said: 'It's a pretty horrible place. It usually wins the prize for the second-worst town in the UK.

'And I have been to Hull and it is bad, but it is not as bad as Cumbernauld.'
