An Ideal day out: Prince Charles in high spirits as he joins Myleene Klass for opening of Home Show

Prince Charles appeared in high spirits today as he attended the official opening of the Ideal Home Show today.
Joined by Myleene Klass, Charles was all smiles as he posed with the presenter outside the Earl's Court event.
Myleene, wearing a rainbow-hued dress, stood out next to Charles' sombre grey suit.

The Prince of Wales revealed his love for a bargain as he visited a specially-designed 'eco-home'.
He received a special tour of the Prince's Arts and Crafts House.
The house, designed by the Prince's Foundation for Building Community, uses recycled and second-hand materials in an effort to be more environmentally friendly.

The Prince said it was 'amazing what you find' after he was told a four-poster bed in the house had been bought through online auction site eBay.
Charles sampled a Welsh drink with Masterchef presenter Gregg Wallace during a tour of food and drink stalls, and revealed he 'occasionally' watched the popular television series.
He was later presented with a portrait of his wife Camilla by artist Emmanuel Y Obuobi and tried an adjustable chair, with a Union flag design, for people with back problems.

He insisted he did not need the flowers because he already had Mother's Day 'nailed.' The prince was given the roses by TV gardener David Domoney.
Handing him the bouquet, Domoney, an expert gardener on ITV1's The Alan Titchmarsh Show, said: 'It's Mother's Day on Sunday - I am in the trade. Have a few of these.'

Prince Charles replied: 'Don't worry - I already have that nailed.'
He then asked Domoney where he had bought the flowers and after being told they were from a local florists, the prince smiled and said: 'I hope they are not from China.'
Domoney, presenter of Channel 5's Garden ER, had been judging a competition at the show for colleges to show off traditional landcraft skills such as dry stone walling which have been championed by Prince Charles who met students behind the winning entry.
Domoney said: 'It is always fun meeting the Prince. He has a great sense of humour. I had bought a beautiful bouquet of roses for him to give to the Queen on Mother's Day on Sunday.

The Ideal Home Show, which is open until April 1, is now in its 104th year and attracts more than 270,000 visitors annually.
During his tour, Charles met ex-servicemen who are supported by the Army Benevolent Fund (ABF), before attending a prize-giving ceremony for the Ideal Young Gardener of the Year competition.

The 'eco-house' is being displayed after the Prince's Foundation for the Building Community established a five-year partnership with the Ideal Home Show to showcase the value of sustainable design, which has been championed by Charles.
Hank Dittmar, chief executive of The Prince's Foundation for Building Community, said: 'The Prince's Arts and Crafts House is a revolutionary, low-energy eco-home and built with a focus on high- quality materials and craftsmanship.
'The Foundation believes that sustainably planned, built and maintained communities improve the quality of life of everyone who's part of them. It is empowering people to want better places to live in and helping them to achieve it.'
