Her Hunger Games character becomes famous for wearing a dress that appears to be made of fire, and it seems that Jennifer Lawrence is equally as intent on becoming known for her fashion sense.
The 21-year-old actress stole the spotlight in a pretty green dress which offered a lot of sex appeal thanks to its plunging neckline.
She was attending a screening of her new movie The Hunger Games thrown by The Cinema Society and Calvin Klein Collection in New York.

The rising star teamed the pleated figure skater style minidress with a pair of black strappy sandals for the event, where she posed on the red carpet alongside the male leads of the movie, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson.
A host of other celebrities were in attendance including Irina Shayk, Isabelle Fuhman, and Zoe Kravitz, whose father Lenny appears with Lawrence in the film.
Earlier in the day she had attended a promotional event at a Barnes & Noble book store in Union Square, where she signed autographs for her loyal fans.

The actress is making headlines not just for her starring role in the hotly anticipated movie but also for her fashion sense.
She wore a dress that appeared to shift colours today while making an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman in New York City.
The long-sleeved Prabal Gurung number appeared completely black when the starlet shifted from side to side, though it was also a golden hue.

She wore a pair of sexy see-through Jimmy Choo stilettos for the appearance as well.
Although she might have appeared to have made two optical illusions in one afternoon, the actress did, in fact, change dresses during her time at the chat show.
She exited wearing the Gurung creation and entered wearing a short, black cut-out dress by Raoul that showed off her long, slender legs.

Lawrence changed her hairdo, as well, entering with her blonde locks down and exiting with her mane in a half-do. The absolutely stellar shoes, of course, remained the same.
It isn't surprising that she would step up her fashion while promoting the film, as her character, tribute Katniss Everdeen, becomes known for her fashion sense.
Her stylist, Cinna (played by Lenny Kravitz in the movie) creates a burn-resistant dress that literally catches fire to make her memorable.

Lawrence is slowly but surely becoming known for her own sensational red carpet style.
She's been amping up her look at premieres in Berlin, Los Angeles, London and Paris in anticipation of the Hunger Games' Friday release.
The science fiction drama about teenagers killing one another for sport in a Dystopian society also stars Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth banks and Woody Harrelson.
The film, based on a young adult trilogy by Suzanne Collins, has already drawn comparisons to Stephanie Meyer's Twilight saga.
